Express Burn is a free CD burning program that allows you to burn record audio and data CDs and DVDs on your Mac.
It's extremely easy to use and you won't be bothered by any registration nag screens like some free burning apps. To get going, simply drag and drop the files you want to burn into the Express Burn interface and click "Burn". It really is that simple as the application automatically sets the buffer and write speed based in your hardware.
Even better, if you want to burn some WAV files to Mp3 (or vice versa) Express Burn does the converting for you automatically when you click burn. It's also a remarkably fast burner although obviously, it's only as fast as your hardware will allow. However, it seems that Express Burn keeps the buffering level cranked up consistently high so disks are finished in double quick time.
It doesn't feature any added bonuses such as CD/DVD cover authoring or LightScribe burning but if all you want is a fast and easy burner, Express Burn is an excellent free option.

Software OK, company isn't..
They billed me for the $70 version when I ordered the $40 version. They claim that tracks can be shifted by dragging. Not so. Also, you have to pay an additional $7 to get tech support, which I did.Company has not responded to two emails.However, software works. More
